Reagle raglan
This sweater was inspired by a very popular and very loved pattern called Flax by Tin Can Knits. I’ve adored this classic and timeless raglan for a long time but have never knit it for myslef because I prefer to wear my sweaters more boxy. Although this sweater is very customizable I wanted the body of my Raglan loose fitting with a slimmer fitting sleeve and a wider neckline. Enter the Reagle Raglan!
This is my ideal Raglan. Because I love the Flax sweater so much, I decided to insert a Garter panel on the sleeves. But to show that this pattern is also about a great fitting Raglan I also knit it without a Garter panel and then turned it inside out to have the Reverse Stockinette the right side. Either way this sweater is sure to be one I will reach for again and again!

PATTERN NOTES
This Raglan is knit seamless top down starting with the collar and meant to be worn with 2 – 4 inches of positive ease. You can choose to knit the Garter panel on the sleeve, or leave it out. The Short Row Method used for this raglan was the Japanese Short Row Method. You can view a tutorial HERE. To knit the “inside out” version, simply knit in Stockinette Stitch as you normally would with the exception of the ends being on the side facing you. Then turn the sweater to the Reverse side!
