An elegant sinuous shape in modern felt, Recherche is knit in the round from bottom to the top, incorporating a couple of rows of seed beads along the way. The ornament is gently stuffed with fiberfill, then felted in a washing machine. A little sparkle is added post-felting by pulling gold embroidery floss through the seed beads with a sewing needle. A great novice project for both felting and knitting with beads- every step is illustrated and explained!

Large: 3 ¾ in. wide x 3 in. high
Small: 3 in. wide by 2 ½ in. high

YARN REQUIRED:

Large: 50 yards
Small: 40 yards

Scissors, tapestry needle, stitch markers, sewing needle, fiberfill, 1 pack of light gold embroidery floss, 1 pack of #6 round seed beads (Dyna-mites glass silver-lined translucent gold)
