Recluse Cardigan in Summer Yarn

Our Recluse Cardigan was first created in Merino No. 5, reimagined in Big Cotton, and now available in non-mercerized 100% cotton Summer yarn. With each iteration, a new personality comes forth - and our Summer version is no exception. The silhouette is a bit more fitted while the cotton creates a breathable, beautiful fabric - all in all, a perfect lightweight layer for spring and summer!

Recluse Cardigan is one of the exclusive styles from our “Loopy Mango Knitting” book. For this version of Recluse Cardigan, follow the pattern as it is written in the book - except use size US17 (12mm) circular knitting needles and for the neckband, pick up 110 sts for S/M and 114 for M/L.

Materials:

• 6 (7) balls of Loopy Mango Summer 90 yds 82 m | 100 g 3.5 oz each, 100% cotton
• Size US 17 (12 mm) circular needles, 32” (80 cm) in length

Note: For sleeves and cuffs you will need to use magic loop method when using size US 17 (12 mm) circular needles 32’’ (80 cm). To avoid magic loop for sleeves and cuffs you can use an additional size US 17 (12 mm) 20’’ (50 cm) circulars OR US 17 (12 mm) DPN’s.

Finished Measurements:

Size S/M: width: 20” (51 cm), length: 23” (58 cm)
Size M/L: width: 23” (58 cm), length: 24” (61 cm)
