Whether the name “recovery” resonates with you for its reminiscent qualities of a mere common cold you recently experienced or a bout of mental instability and/or anxiety, a challenging life changing event you have overcome or the sheer bleakness of the pandemic at its peak versus todays “new normal”. The list goes on. The fact is, we are here today, having experienced our experiences. We have all experienced a recovery of kinds. This shawl reminds us to “remember” our recovery, and sheer inner strength. We are strong for having “recovered”.

PATTERN NOTES
Crochet yourself a cosy hug. Soothing linen stitch stripes are worked in a simple triangle shape, resulting in a wearable wrap with pockets. The optional belt creates a- sort of cardigan without the commitment of sewing armholes so you keep it as a shawl.

Perfect use for all your odds and ends. There are many ways to play with colour with this wrap; use a colour-changing yarn contrasting with a solid and watch as they shift through the project. Use a contrast or solid colour yarn for the edgings to make them “pop”.

The size of the shawl is adjustable to your own measurements and is designed to be oversized. Take your own measurements from neck to top of legs and work to this size.
