If you want to include fringe, Cut your lengths prior to beginning the shawl, to allow yourself the ability to crochet, without having to guess how much to save. (Cut 9 inch lengths of yarn, one, or two for each row end. I prefer to cut as I go, so that I can coordinate fringe to row color)
