Reflections Mittens
Reflections Mittens have a flip-top over the fingers. A second flip-top over the thumb allows quick, easy thumb exposure for texting. The mittens are worked with two strands of yarn held together to create a dense, luxuriously warm fabric. They can also be worked without the flip tops.
Mittens may also be worked on 2 circular needles or with magic loop method. Thumb must be worked on dpns.
For best fit, try mittens on as you work them.
Black Water Abbey Fingering Weight Yarn has a generous bloom. Please bloom yarn before winding and knitting the yarn. To bloom yarn: un-twist skein, loosen skein ties to allow yarn to expand. You may want to add more ties. Soak in cold water with a mild detergent or wool wash for one hour. Rinse. Roll in a towel to squeeze out as much moisture as possible. Let dry completely, then wind into a ball.
The mittens coordinate with “Reflections Scarf”.
