INTRO

Reminisce & Recollect is a design created for the yarns with which it is named. These sport weight yarns are identical. The only difference is that Recollect uses 25% Black Rambouillet wool, so it dyes up slightly darker. For this reason, I wanted to create a mirrored effect where the darker shade on bottom resembles a reflection of the lighter shade on top. With this theme in mind, a simple wavy lace seemed well suited for capturing the waterlike essence of memory and time.

This completely top-down (other than the construction of the collar) design features a raglan construction with a slightly cropped length, a somewhat high collar and a simple lace pattern with a faux cable likeness. Both charts and written instructions are included.

The pattern is divided into two files: one for sizes 1-8 and one for sizes 9-19. Scroll down for info for sizes 9-19.

BLOCKED GAUGE

Lace: 24 sts and 36 rows / rnds = 4” / 10 cm

1x1 Ribbing: 30 sts and 36 rows / rnds = 4” / 10 cm

NEEDLES

Needle size is a suggestion. Use the needle size that achieves gauge for you.

Size US 5 / 3.75 mm circular needles: 24” / 60 cm to start and 32” / 80 cm or longer for remainder of the pattern
