A SHELL LIKE stitch with a vintage look decorates this jumper by Amanda Crawford. The lace pattern incorporates cluster stitches to form the bands of shell motifs, which are separated by lines of garter stitch in a contrast colour. The body and sleeves are knitted separately in the round, then joined to work the yoke; the neck also features a band of lace. Amanda’s design uses Illustrious by West Yorkshire Spinners, which is a cosy blend of wool and alpaca.
