Retro Leaves was inspired by some ceramics left to me by my parents. I love the simple graphics and monochrome colours.

The pattern includes written instructions, accompanying charts, some helpful hints and tips to make your project easier, plus a discussion around different colour combinations.

The placemat is made using Overlay Mosaic Crochet, but is suitable for an adventurous beginner, as all stitches and techniques are explained.

The placemat was made in Stylecraft Special Aran yarn (worsted weight) and 4.5mm / 5mm crochet hooks.

The finished project will measure, approximately: 12” x 16.5” (30.5 cms x 40.5 cms).

The pattern is written in US notation, but can easily be converted to UK terms.
