The design of this super-soft and squidgy blanket harks back to memories of my early childhood in the 1970s – specifically the bold shapes and earthy colours that were the height of fashion at the time.

Inspiration for the individual blocks was taken from the unusual Reversi block in Leonie Morgan’s gorgeous book Beautiful Blankets, Afghans and Throws.

The pattern includes clear instructions and lots of photos, making it suitable for any level of experience.
