Construction: Knitted from the Top Down with Raglan Construction. A V-Necked, Cropped Cardigan. Garter Stitched Fronts and 3/4 Length Sleeves.
The cardigan has no side shaping. It has been designed to be worn with no ease but a knitter could easily size up for a more relaxed fit. Pronounced raglan sleeve seams and buttons trailing up past the vertical bands onto the v neck portion of the sweater add some interesting design elements. The sweater uses a small amount of yarn and a relaxed gauge. The knitting is speedy.
Skill Level: This pattern was written and edited with clarity and simplicity in mind. It would be suitable for beginners willing to take on techniques like increasing stitches (for the raglan seams) and picking up stitches (for the buttonband).
