Reversible Sports Fan Scarf
So my sister said my adult nephew wanted a Steeler’s scarf for Christmas. He recently became a flight Attendant and was stationed in Miami, moving from Arizona. So he has no warm clothing for when he flies to the colder climates. Auntie to the rescue! Only I couldn’t find any patterns of what I was picturing in my head. Since when they fly, they have only a small satchel with them, I wanted him to have something versatile, along with being what he wanted. So I designed this scarf and I am hoping it fits the bill. When he is wearing his uniform to the airport, he can have the traditional side showing, and when out and about he can show his support to his favorite team.
So the scarf is made out of Baah LaJolla Bumblebee colorway for the mottled yellow, gray and white, and obsidian. I left a plain square on each end to duplicate stitch your favorite teams logo (I am not adding any logos on the pattern as I am worried about copyright infringement). The scarf is worked in the round in two pieces and joined together with a three needle bind off. Short rows help with the shaping of the chevrons. I added a fringe edging.
