This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up using the stranded method for the colourwork section. The hat begins with rib, the stranded motif is worked, and then it is topped with a faux-fur pompom.

DK; 70% Acrylic, 20% Nylon, 10% Merino

3.5mm (us no 4) circular, 16in/41cm

gauge: 24 sts x 28 rows = 4in/10cm measured
over stranded stockinette on larger needles
Some knitters work stranded and one-coloured
at different gauges. Change needles as needed to
keep gauge the same throughout.
