This is my first attempt at pattern writing and has only been test knitted by myself, so please forgive any mistakes, and feel free to drop me a message so I can make the necessary corrections

Materials:
I recommend an Aran or heavy worsted weight yarn with 5.5mm needles. (I would also recommend a solid colour. I am currently attempting to knit a large blanket using this pattern, and I mistakenly picked a variegated yarn. Big mistake. The colour change in the yarn is obliterating the stitch pattern.)
The amount of yarn required will depend on how many repeats are completed.
2 Stitch Markers (SM)
Tapestry needle for sewing in ends.

Gauge:
Will differ depending on yarn weight and needle size

Notes:
The pattern is in both written and chart form. Charts can be found at the end of the written pattern.
For charts, begin with row 1 at the top of the chart.
Right side (odd numbered) are read from right to left
Wrong side (even numbered) are read from left to right, (although the pattern is symmetrical so it’s not overly important).

Written instructions and charts include a 3 stitch garter border on each edge.
