These mitts coordinate with the Rhombus Delight Hat . Just like the hat, this pattern is written with 3 different sizes and 2 different yarn weights. To avoid confusion, each yarn weight patten is written as a stand alone pattern so when you purchase this design both pdf’s will be added to your Ravelry Library and you may select the weight your prefer.

The mitts begin and end with a half twisted rib (knit through the back loop, purl as usual) . Once ribbing is completed, stitches are added to accommodate the cable pattern, a 15-stitch/6-Rnd repeat, which is worked on the top of hand section for each mitt. The rest of the mitts are worked in stockinette stitch. Thumb gussets are added using M1R and M1L increases. Sizes can be personalized by working fewer repeats for shorter mitts or more repeats for longer mitts. Also, circumference can be adjusted by adding or subtracing a multiple of 2 stitches.

Stitches used: Ktbl, Right Twist, Left Twist, 3-stitch Right Twist, M1R, M1L, k and p.

S: 6’ (15 cm) circumference and 6.5” (16 cm) length
M: 7” (18 cm) circumference and 7” (18 cm) length
L: 8” (18 cm) circumference and 7.5” (19 cm) length
