Rhuska-hat has a double folded brim to keep you warm during the cold weather. The fabric is really stretchy and fits variety of head sizes. The hat is worked in the round in Fisherman’s Rib from the brim up holding two strands of fingering wt yarn together with one strand of Kidsilk. With a little trick both the folded brim and the hat body show the right side. You can also substitute the fingering yarn with single strand of worsted wt yarn.

Sizes

S, M, L to fit head size 48-52 (52-56, 56-60) cm/ 19-20.5 (20.5-22, 22-24) inches.

Finished measurements

Body finished circumference 32 (37.5, 42.5) cm/ 12.5 (14.75, 16.75) inches.

Height approximately 20 cm/ 8 inches with brim folded double.

Yarn

100 g of fingering weight yarn, approximately 340-400 m/ 372-437 yds per 100 g and 25 g of Kidsilk, app. 210 m/ 230 yds per 25 g.

The grey hat (size L) was knitted with Garnstudio Drops Nord (45% Alpaca, 30% Nylon, 25% Wool, 170 m/ 186 yds per 50g) in colourway Light Grey and Garnstudio Drops Kidsilk (75% Mohair, 25% Silk, 210 m/ 230 yds per 25 g) in colourway Off White.

Testers used variety of different weight yarns so basically any yarn combination that gives you the gauge will work great, for example you can substitute the two fingering stands with one strand of worsted wt yarn.
