The Riband Wrap takes its inspiration from the second verse of Edward Lear’s “Jumblies” poem, encouraging makers to adventure bravely into the world. It evokes the wave theme found throughout the issue, but also reimagines that same theme as amber waves of grain or beach grasses undulating in the wind. The Riband is a visual and tactile exploration of movement, merging the rhythmic rolling of the sea with the vast expanses of the plains.
