Ribbed Bowls

Thick bowls, reminiscent of coiled clay bowls, are smooth on the inside and ribbed on the outside. They are knit in the round from 2 strands of worsted weight wool yarn held together, then felted in either a washing machine or a dryer. Complete instructions are provided for knitting, felting and shaping the bowls.
Sizes are as follows:
Small: 3.5 inches diameter, 2 inches high
Medium: 5 inches diameter, 3 inches high
Large: 8 inches diameter, 4.5 inches high
Materials
Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted; Color: Green Tea Heather: Small Bowl: 1 Skein (80 yards); Medium Bowl: 2 Skeins (200 yards); Large Bowl: 5 Skeins (525 yards)
Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted; Color: Aloe Heather; Small Bowl: 1 Skein (20 yards); Medium Bowl: 1 Skein (30 yards); Large Bowl: 1 Skein (45 yards)
Notions: Scissors, tapestry needle, stitch markers, and washing machine or dryer for felting
