Quick and easy to knit both, the hat and matching fingerless mittens in a flashy colors make quite the splash. The hat is knitted in the round, the mitts are knitted flat. Both show off a richly textured two by two rib pattern.

The patterns are both written and there is a schematic for the finishing of the mitts.
The hats measurements are 20/21.3” around and 8.25/9,25” in height. The mittens measure 8/9” around and 6.25/7” in length.

Notions needed
Us size 8 (5 mm) circular needle 16” (42 cm) in length.
1 Stitch marker for the hat to mark beginnings of rounds.
Tapestry needle for finishing.

Gauge
12 sts and 19 rows in 4” in rib pattern.

Techniques applied
Knitting and purling in the round, decreasing, cinching stitches together with Tapestry needle, weaving in ends.
Blocking is optional. The sample was left unblocked.
