This ribbed hat is a fun knit. Beginner knitters can learn new skills/techniques with this pattern. The hat is worked from the bottom up with dk or worsted -weight yarn. The brim is folded and knitted as a double inside the hat which will keep your ears really warm. There is a little cable detail to make the hat unique. The hat can be easily customized; knitters can add another cable on the back of the hat, or the cable can be placed really anywhere on the hat, directions are given in the pattern. The hat is intended to be worn with approx. 2”/5 cm negative ease, sizes fit the head circumference of approx. 21-22(22.5-23.5)”/52-54(56-58, 60-62)cm.
The sample in the photos is size M worn on a head circumference 23”/57 cm.

Gauge:
17 sts (& 26 rows) = 4”/10 cm in 2x2 ribbing with larger (US 6/4 mm) needles. Row gauge isn’t important here.

Materials:
Yarn:
Choose DK or worsted weight yarn to achieve the gauge. Sample yarn:
Nordic Yarn Eco Cashmere (50% Recycled Cashmere, 50% Virgin Cashmere 50g/164yds/150m/skein). You need: 2 skeins or approx. 60g/197yds/180m similar yarn.
Needles:
US 6 4 mm 16”/40 cm circular needle.
Larger size dpns for crown shaping if preferred.
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.
Other:
Stitch marker, tapestry needle, cable needles 2 pieces.

Tämä joustinneulepipo on hauskaa neulottavaa. Aloittelija oppii tämän projektin parissa uusia tekniikoita helpossa pienessä mittakaavassa. Pipo neulotaan alhaalta ylös dk- tai worsted-paksuisella langalla. Resori käännetään kaksinkerroin pipon sisäpuolelle ja neulotaan samalla kiinni vuoripuolelle – kaksinkertainen kerros pitää korvat varmasti lämpiminä. Pipossa on pieni palmikkoyksityiskohta, jonka voi sijoittaa mihin tahansa kohtaan pipoa – ohjeet tähän annetaan. Ohjeessa on myös videolinkit ohjevideoihin, joissa näytetään resorin neulominen pipon sisäpuolelle sekä kolmen puikon päättely.
