ABOUT THE PATTERN
“Ribbons” pattern holds a very special meaning, dedicated to all the women who have suffered or are suffering from breast cancer. One of my main goals is to help people shine through my patterns. This design is meant to remind them, they will never stop shining and to serve as a reminder to get checked regularly.

For this project, I decided to use Daruma tape (which is essentially a ribbon), but if you can’t find it, you can replace it with a yarn that suits you. Additionally, “Ribbons” offers two versions to suit your preferences and needs:

Full version: Includes beads and a colorwork design throughout the body.
Basic version: The beads and motif are concentrated on the yoke.
You can knit it with or without beads.

The most amazing part is that you can mix and match elements from these two versions to create your own unique interpretation of the sweater.

This sweater has a simple construction, with a round yoke, and is knitted seamlessly from the top down, allowing you to try it on and make adjustments if needed.

Recommended ease: positive ease 6 cm / 2.5”. The pictures of the full version show a size 1 in 80 cm / 32” bust.

Make two gauge swatches:

1. If you chose the full version, make your first swatch in the round with color B; if you chose the basic version, use color A. The swatch should be knitted in stockinette stitch in the round.
2. Make a swatch with color A and color C in the round, in stranded colorwork.

ACERCA DEL PATRÓN
Este patrón “Ribbons” tiene un significado muy especial, dedicado a todas las mujeres que han sufrido o sufren cáncer de mama. Uno de mis principales objetivos es ayudar a las personas a brillar a través de mis patrones, y este diseño está destinado a recordarles, en octubre, el Mes del Cáncer de Mama, que nunca dejarán de brillar, y también a recordarles lo importante que es realizarse chequeos regulares.
Para este proyecto, decidí usar Daruma tape (es básicamente una cinta), pero si no lo encuentras, puedes reemplazarlo con un hilo que te acomode. Además, “Ribbons” ofrece dos versiones para adaptarse a tus preferencias y necesidades:
Versión completa: Incluye mostacillas y un diseño de color en todo el cuerpo. Versión básica: Las mostacillas y el motivo están concentrados en el canesú.
Puedes tejerlo con o sin mostacillas.
Lo más increíble es que puedes combinar elementos de estas dos versiones para crear tu propia interpretación única del suéter.
Este suéter tiene una construcción sencilla, con canesú redondo, el cual se teje sin costuras de arriba hacia abajo, lo que te permite probártelo y hacer ajustes si lo deseas.
