Hat #4 in the Hat-a-long! Hard to believe this is the last one, but there’s still time to join us if you haven’t already -- its been all sorts of fun so far! Ribbons and Poms is a super simple colorwork project, perfect for anyone who’s been wanting to try stranded knitting but has been intimidated by more complex patterns. A quick, fun and festive knit!
Finished Size
18” circumference by 9½“ tall, after light blocking.
Yarn
The Plucky Knitter Bello Worsted (55% merino, 45% cashmere; 200 yds /105 g): Athos (MC) and Twill (CC) 1 skein each. Appx 175 yds MC, 35 yds CC—exact yardage will vary!
Needles
Size 6 (4.0 mm) 16” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpns) and Size 4 (3.5 mm) 16” cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions
Marker (m), tapestry needle, pompom (if desired.)
Gauge
22 sts and 28 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch on larger needle
