Directional (right or left leaning) YO closures are used. Allowing angled movement without the lacy hole effect.

9 ½” buttons ~ optional, for button cowl
Measurements
Sample 9 by 64” (23 by 162.5 cm) after gentle blocking.
Gauge
Gauge not critical but will affect dimensions and yardage.
Gently blocked Stockinette = 25 sts = 4” (10 cm)
Tips for maximum dimensional effect
Tightly plied, springy, round yarn.
Small sts / firm fabric.
Snug down decreases and YOs
Very light, or no blocking.
