A great project to venture into stranded knitting with~

The Riding the wave shawl is knitted with three contrasting colors. It’s an enjoyable, easy bottom up knit with a two color checkered motif followed by a big 3 color, repeating wave pattern which then gives way to a two color seed stitch pattern all done in simple stockinette knitting.

The final finish is an I-cord bind off that is also done with two colors for good measure.

The pattern is fully written, has a chart for the Big Wave pattern and a how to video link.

The blocked size is 68.5” in total length and 15.5“ in height.
