The Rifugio Scarf (shelter in Italian) it’s designed to be something quite simple to make (I would say it’s for a beginner/intermediate knitter), but with the oversized look made with the fisherman ribbing, it has a very particular vibe.
Of course you can be an expert knitter and make this scarf too, the scarf will fly off your needles while you are watching a series.
In the pattern two yarns are suggested, but with a design like this you can play around with different yarns and colours.

After the set up row, this scarf is made of two rows (in fisherman ribbing) that you will repeat until you reach your desired length.

↟ Materials: I’ve already made this scarf using 3 different yarns, and the result is always very lovely and comfy. The instructions down below are for a scarf made with Alaska from Drops, but you can use any aran weight yarn or adjust the pattern to your gauge.
Yarn:
400 g Alaska by Drops (100% wool, 50 g, 70 m, aran-worsted)
Alternative yarn: 380 g Karisma by Drops (100% wool, 50 g, 100 m, dk-worsted)
Knitting Needles: 6 mm / 10 US / 4 UK

in fisherman ribbing with 6 mm / 10 US / 4 UK needles 12 st x 18 rows
