This hat is named after a friend’s cat, Rigby. He was adopted on Christmas eve! He was a perfect fit for their family and the family was a perfect fit for Rigby. A wonderful Adopt Don’t Shop success story.

I’ve had this pattern for awhile waiting for the right time to release it. Everything happens for a reason and now is the time to let it out into the universe. It was waiting for this special project. This hat is supper beginner friendly, if you can single crochet you can make this hat. It’s got a great slouch and will work with pretty much any worsted weight yarn you have on hand.
