Knitting pattern for Rikke sweater No 2 by Rikke Jönsson

The beautiful Rikke sweater No 2 is an extension of Rikke Jönsson’s earlier designs, yet it has its very own unique expression. Rikke sweater No 2 features an oversized lok, and the signature rib pattern that characterizes the Rikke series adorns the shoulders in the most elegant way. The pattern continues down the sleeves, creating a beautiful and harmonious coherence in the design.

Designed by Rikke Jönsson.

Gauge:
16 sts x 26 rows in stockinette on needle 5 mm / US 8 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches

Procedure:

The sweater is first worked back and forth and then in the round, from the top down. You start by knitting the two shoulder panels separately. These are then joined, and short rows are worked across the back and front to ensure a good fit. The yoke is shaped with increases along the sleeves. After, the work is divided, and the sleeves and body are finished separately. The sleeves are worked in the round.
