This simpy-made, gender neutral blanket works up quickly in an easily-remembered pattern.
The blanket uses only simple stiches like single and double crochet (UK: double and treble crochet), but then introduces a bit of fun in the form of double treble (UK: triple treble) stitches that cross over each other to form a textured surface. Full instructions for working the crossed stitches are given, and there is also a photo to help.

Exact Yarn quantities of any DK weight yarn: Main Color: 635 yds; 110 yds in each of eight colors; 65 yds in one color.

You can destash your left-over bits and pieces in this multi-colour blanket. Use as many colors as you like, or stick with the yarn suggestions in the pattern.

The pattern download includes both the US crochet terminology pattern and the UK crochet terminology pattern. Print pages 1 - 3 for the US version, or pages 4 - 6 for the UK version.

Finished Size: 36½ x 26 in (93 cm x 66 cm).

Fully customizable, the pattern includes clear instructions on how to change the size of the blanket to preemie, crib/cot, playpen and other sizes.

Gauge is not too important in this pattern, so you can get going with your choice of yarn and hook straight away.
