Rillen Sweater
The Rillen Sweater is knitted in a Textured ribbing pattern, from the top down. This design was inspired by Pascuali’s Sayama yarn from Germany. The unevenness of this pattern makes the sweater very warm. Rillen means groove in German, and the pattern on this sweater looks like snow grooves. The back yoke is knit first with increases from the shoulders down. The front stitches are picked up separately along each shoulder, then joined after the front neck slope shaping. The back and front are joined at the underarms to be knit in the round to the hem. Stitches are then picked up around the armhole for the sleeve and knit in the round. To finish, stitches are picked up around the neck opening and worked in rib for the collar. The length of the body and collar can be changed to your preference.

Size Guide
This pullover is designed to be worn with 15-55 cm 6-21 3⁄4” positive ease.
Make sure to knit a swatch to check your gauge. If you can’t obtain the correct gauge, adjust needle sizes. The pattern stitch, since it is a rib, tends to stretch with blocking. Make a note of the gauge before and after blocking.
