Designed for our Winterland Advent sets — but could also work with a Ridged & Wrapped 13-pack too — this shawl uses twelve mini skeins and has twelve sections of stitches which means you could work a section a month to finish the year with a new wrap. Each section is knit with a different color, alternating between texture and lace, in simple stitch patterns.

Yarn: Wonderland Yarns “Mary Ann” fingering weight: 85% superwash merino/15% nylon; 118 yards per mini skein: 12 mini skeins: C1-C12
Color order: Feel free to use colors in whatever order you prefer. Sample shows 1-12 of the 12 Day Advent used in order. If working from a 24 Day Advent you can create a fade effect by choosing 12 mini skeins that fade one into the next. A note at the start of each stitch pattern signifies whether it is a subtle or defined pattern. You may wish to reserve the tonal colors and semi-solid colors for the subtle patterns and more complex colorways for more defined stitches (which will look good with any colorway).

Needles & Notions: US size 6/4mm needles, or size required to get gauge, darning needle

Gauge: 23 sts & 31 rows = 4”/10 cm in Snowflakes (section 2) after blocking

Measurements: 16”/40.5cm wide and 86”/218.5cm long (pattern is written to maximize yardage, for a shorter wrap work fewer repeats in sections 2-11)
