Pattern Notes
This jumper is knitted in the round from the bottom up to the armhole, where the fornt and back are then worked separately back and forth. The sleeves are then picked up around the armhole and knitted downwards with short row stripes being worked to create sleeve head shaping. The jumper is knitted in a traditional ripple effect, open work pattern in conjunction with an all over stripe pattern. A ribbed neck band is knitted upwards from the body and finally a separate button tab is knitted and sewn into place over the neck band. Buttons are sewn onto the shoulders and through the tab as a finishing touch. The sample shown in the photographs is the third size, worn with 7.5cm (3in) of positive ease. To achieve a more vintage fit it is suggested you choose a size with 0-10cm (0-4in) of negative ease.
