A pretty, sparkly blanket, with a textured pattern that mimics ripples, fading in and out.

There are 2 sizes -
small baby blanket, 61cm x 76cm/24in x 30in, and
large baby blanket/throw for the end of the bed or in your sitting room, 70cm x 105cm/30in x 42in.
(Instructions are included on how to make the blanket any width or length.)

The pattern is easy, as all you need to know is how to cast/bind on and off, knit, purl – the textured pattern is formed from knit and purl stitches.

Yarn recommendations are given, but any double knit/light worsted yarn should be fine - I advise checking your tension/gauge, although minor variations shouldn’t be too serious - you’ll just end up with a slightly larger or smaller blanket! The needle length given is for the small baby blanket, but if you make it wider or longer, you may need longer/circular needles.
