Early morning tide pooling in the PNW still requires a springtime hat as the marine layer lifts and the rain drizzles intermittently. Seagulls squawk overhead and the salty air fills our lungs, reminding us how fortunate we are to live in the Pacific Northwest. The cables are the designer’s interpretation of seagulls and the folded brim bundles the ears from the cold wind and rain. This design was created for variegated yarns to showcase the individual colors and to eliminate color pooling.
