After snow, a lot of rain and grey days, the spring arrives. The trees are awakening and a lot of tiny leaves are everywhere… and colours, after all these shades of grey, the colours are back again, with yellows and pinks.

The shawl is knitted top down and has a triangular shape. The side border is knitted in garter stitch and the increases are worked twisted.
Except for the lacy, or should I say leafy, border and the small lace stripe, the main shawl is worked in stripes with 2 main coulours and a bit of a third contrasting colour for eye-catching.

Measurements of the blocked shawl: 210 cm x 114 cm

Nach Schnee und vielen grauen Regentagen, kommt endlich der Frühling. Die Bäume schlagen aus, überall kleine grüne Blätter und Farbe! Wie habe ich die Farbe vermisst, nach den verschiedenen Grautönen. Zuerst Blüten in gelben und rosa Schattierungen und dann entfaltet sich die volle Farbenpracht des Frühlings.

Der Schal wird von oben nach unten gestrickt. Der Rand wird kraus gestrickt und die Zunahmen verschränkt gearbeitet. Feine Streifen in kontrastierenden Farben bilden den oberen und mittleren Teil des Schals. Um mehr Spannung in die Streifen zu bringen, kommt eine 3. Farbe ins Spiel. Ein kleiner Streifen im Ajourmuster soll auf die breite Bordüre in Ajourmuster einstimmen.
