GAUGE
27½ sts and 27½ rows = 4”/10cm in char t pattern, blocked.

NOTES
- The scarf shown contains three 16-stitch char t repeats, plus
5 border stitches at each side. For a wider or narrower scarf,
cast on more or fewer stitches in multiples of 16. Every 16
stitches added or removed will make the piece about 2¼”
wider or narrower. Plan on purchasing extra yarn if making a
larger scarf.
- To prevent the color shades from pooling, work from two
skeins at a time alternating every two rows. Carry the unused
strand up the side of the work, inside the 5-stitch slipped
edging, until it is needed again.
- The cable pattern is not truly reversible because the two
sides of the fabric look different, but they are both attractive
so you will never need to worry about the “pretty” side
showing.
