River Walk Shawl
There are few handmade items more versatile than a rectangular stole, which is why we are thrilled to reintroduce this stunning piece. An undulating pattern of single- and double-crochet mesh stitches floats across the fabric like oversized bubbles. Originally made in a 100% silk laceweight yarn for the Summer 2011 issue, we remade this stole in a silk/linen blend, which further enhances the drape and character of the fabric.
If you chain tightly, use a larger size hook for foundation chain. The first two stitches and last two stitches of each row create the border To adjust length, add or delete Rows 2-7 of pattern.
