Option 2: 35x 65.5x69 inches / 89x155x176 cm with a 3 inch / 7.5cm border
Tension: Tension isn’t important for this project but it will affect the amount of yarn used.
There is no right side or wrong side.
Working a 3 or 5 colour row repeat means you can carry the yarn up the side.
The main body of the shawl is worked first and the border ribbing is added around the outside afterward.
Chart included shows how the main body is worked.
Both options produce a generous sized shawl. Stop a few rows early if you want a smaller shawl.
Blocking creates an even better drape and opens out the corners of the border.
