Meet Robbie the African Flower Reindeer- The festive friend who’s part Rudolph, part flower power, and 100% handmade magic.

Materials
All weights are approximate and will vary depending on the brand of yarn you choose and how tightly you crochet.
I used a mix of different brands of double knit for this pattern
You can of course use any brand of double-knit/light/3 weight.
This pattern would also work using fine/ sports/2 fine yarn. or aran/worsted/4 weight yarn but would be bigger.

Stylecraft special Dk- Walnut — Brown main colour - 80g
Emu - Pecan - light brown— 60g
Stylecraft- Cream — 30g
Paintbox - Soft Fudge — 40g - Antlers
Marriner yarns - Bark - Dark brown for the feet— 20g
Stylecraft special Dk - Red —20g- Collar
Safety eyes 20mm
Toy stuffing.
Bells for the collar x 8
Fake eye lashes (optional)

Hooks required
2.50 mm

Size
By using this yarn and hook sizes your finished Reindeer will be roughly
48cm/19inches in height
30 cm/12 inches in length
15cm/6 inches in width

Abbreviations
All the crochet stitches used in this pattern are based on American crochet terms
Ch = chain stitch
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Dc = double crochet
Tr = treble crochet
Inc= single crochet increase
Dec = single crochet decrease
FLO = Front loop only
BLO = Back loop only

This pattern is easy to follow but requires basic crochet knowledge. It is written in US terms but easy to convert to UK.
