This is another of my small festive pictures, this time featuring a fat robin. The background is made up of garter stitch squares, knitted with odds and ends of blue yarn. The robin and his branch of holly are knitted separately and then sewn on to the quilt. The whole thing is surrounded by a knitted on binding which frames the picture and holds the wooden dowels which make the quilt hang straight.
