Robin Suit
Robin Suit is a simple and practical loose-fitting all-in-one suit for babies and young children. The suit is worked from the bottom up using 1 strand Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk. Robin Suit has a raglan construction, a back split along one of raglan seams that closes with buttons and another opening on the inside of the legs that is also closed with buttons.
Each leg is worked separately up to the crotch. You start working the leg cuff in the round before working the rest of the leg back and forth. At the crotch, work is joined on one needle before the body is worked in the round up to the underarms. Sleeves are worked next before sleeves and body are joined to form the yoke. The yoke is first worked in the round and later back and forth to create the back split and to shape the neckline with short rows. The suit is finished with a ribbed neckband and ribbed button bands on the inside of the legs.
