Rocaille Reticule
Originally Published for the Summer 2021 Ficstitches Yarns Kit Club.
This lacy beaded reticule is inspired by the styles popular in the 1920’s, with a beaded tassel & twisted cord handles. This bag is a useful size & shape for any occasion!
Use an F hook or size needed to obtain gauge. Gauge is obtained by working round 1-7 = 2” in diameter.
This pattern uses just half a skein (260 yds) of Teresa Ruch Designs Tencel 5/2.
Beads will be pre-strung before you begin crocheting. Beads are brought up on the back of the fabric as you are working the base so the back of the work will be outside (RS) of bag. Base is worked in continuous rounds.
