A subtle and fun sock pattern using the beautiful Sereknity sw wool/tencel blend sock yarn, Satin. This is one of my newest designs from the book, The Joy of Sox, published by Lark Books.

The pattern is not complicated - being a combination of 4x4 ribbing all along the sock - and, with a slight movement of the ribbing, forms stellar diagonal stripes. The ribbing gives the sock a great fit while the movement of the stripes gives some “oomph” and interest.

The best type of yarn to use for this pattern would be a semi-solid or solid colored merino/nylon/tencel or merino blend. Any multicolored yarn or varigated colorway would mask the subtle movement of the diagonal stripes.

The pattern includes charts and multiple photo views in the book.

I hope you like knitting this pattern and please let me know if you find any errata. Thanks!
