About the design -
Located west of downtown Portland, the Rock Creek community is perched on the very edge of the urban growth boundary. It is located at the intersection of city and country, past and future. At any given stoplight you might see a housing development, a tractor plowing a field, a strip mall, or a restored wetland. The creek that gave this community its name is home to a great blue heron rookery and a steelhead run. This shawlette was inspired by this twisting little creek.

Yarn - Shown in 1 skein of Juno Fibre Arts Alice in color Duck Egg. Any fingering weight yarn with a nice drape can be substituted.

Needles - US #6, 32” circular needles. (Optional, shorter #6 needles for border.)

Notions - Cable needle, darning needle.

Skill level - Intermediate.
