This pattern is no longer available. We will be forever grateful to Barb Brown, for her design using our Hat Trick yarns.

When it comes to knitting knee highs, we drafted local talent: Barb Brown is known as the “great one” for plotting with mathematical precision the curves of the calf. Follow her finely crafted instructions and you’ll be able to score a pair of shapely knee high socks with beautifully cabled patterning on the back of the leg. Knit in three sizes for shapely, shapelier and shapeliest legs!

The key to winning the game is passing the puck at the right time. This stitch reminds Barb of the tic-tac-toe pass that puts the puck in the net. The elongated stitch also highlights the colour changes in these team yarns, and helps break up pooling.

Barb Brown is also the author of “Knitting Knee Highs” published by Penguin Random House Canada. You can find her book here: https://www.penguinrandomhouse.ca/books/629013/knitting-k...
