There are a lot of men in my family, and I listen to them when it comes to designing their sweaters. This cooler-weather sweater is a compilation of their collective ‘Ideal Sweater Wish List’.

These are the features I’ve worked into this sweater:

It’s lighter weight, as it uses DK weight yarn.

It’s a good layering piece, and it can also be worn indoors.

It’s roomy and non-constraining in the upper body and neckline, making it comfortable to wear.

The vertical rib on the body is slimming, while the horizontal lines and change of color on the yoke draw attention to, and broaden the chest.

The sweater is worked in one piece from the hem upwards, making this a seamless design with no making up to do.

Yarn requirements:
Main Color: 725 (875, 1000, 1130, 1230){1325, 1430, 1500, 1655} yds
Contrast Color:245 (300, 335, 375, 410){440, 476, 500, 545} yds
