Rockin' Red Dress
Inspired by the sassy suit of Star Trek’s Lieutenant Uhura, this flattering crochet dress is worked top down with a quiver-stitch bodice. Post stitches outline the gores of the swirly skirt, which is easily lengthened or shortened.
Yardage: #502 rose, 5 (6, 7, 7, 8) balls.
Gauge: 12 sts and 8 rnds = 3” in skirt patt, blocked; 12 sts = 3” and 8 rows = 2¾“ in quiver patt, blocked.
Finished Size: 30 (32, 36, 40, 44)“ bust circumference; length at back neck 31 (31, 31¾, 33¼, 33¾)”. Note: Fabric is stretchy and can be worn with up to 2” negative ease; dress may also hang longer on the body. Garment shown measures 32”, modeled with no ease.
