This beginner friendly pattern features a zig zag design running down the sides of the sock. The repeats are easy-to-remember for relaxing knitting, and the socks come in two weights and can be knit with one or two colors.

This pattern is written to be beginner-friendly, it has a lot of detail and a corresponding knit-along tutorial for the heel.

The height of the sock is adjustable to your preference.

TECHNIQUES:
Knit from the top down.
This sock uses the heel flap technique.
Toe has no seaming needed, with notes for a traditional toe if preferred.

SIZES:
The pattern comes in sizes XS-XL. It will fit from child size through adult XL, there is a size for everyone!

FINGERING WEIGHT YARN:
Any sock/fingering weight yarn, approximately:
MC: approx. 40-70g (185-325 yards)
CC: approx 15-20g (70-90 yards)
(more or less depending on sock height or other adjustments)

DK/WORSTED WEIGHT YARN:
Any sock/fingering weight yarn, approximately:
MC: approx. 60-90g (135-200 yards)
CC: approx 15-20g (35-45 yards)
(more or less depending on sock height or other adjustments)

NEEDLES:
Fingering: US 1 (2.25mm)
DK/Worsted: US 5 (3.75mm)
You can use whichever needle method you prefer, DPNs, 9” circular, 2 circular needles, etc. Pattern comes with instructions for different needle methods.
