Romantic Crochet Collar
Pattern requirements:
Skill level: easy
Time: 30-40 minute
The intricate pattern of the collar gives it a rich and eye-catching effect. It can be styled with both shirts and sweaters for a unique look. If made out of a chunkier yarn it would look great peeking under a coat as a scarf.
What you need:
* Less than 50 grams / skein of cotton or DK yarn. For this particular collar I used Nako’s Val premium acrylic sport yarn and a 3 mm hook. When using a different yarn, please consult hook recommendation on your yarn label.
Used terms in American terminology: chain (ch), skip (sk), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), treble (tr), picot.
Finished measurements:
Collar: 34 cm /13.4” in length sans loop and 4 cm / 1.6 “ in width. Length of crocheted hanging piece together with collar – center wise: 12 cm/ 4.7”
