Rosario
This pattern is currently unavailable.
Rosario is a crescent-shaped shawl with garter stitch, eyelets and lacy chevron.
It’s worked top down with two colours. Perfect for yarns available in 50 g skeins, like organic Rosy Green Wool used in the sample shawl.
Rosario also effortlessly transforms into a one skein wonder by simply skipping the contrast colour border. Main colour body section uses about 380 m / 415 yds of fingering weight yarn.
YARN
Two colours of Rosy Green Wool Manx Merino Fine (100% wool; 200 m / 219 yds per 50 g). Shown in colours Devon Natural (MC) and Norfolk Wood (CC).
Or two colours of similar fingering weight yarn.
AMOUNT OF YARN
Main colour (MC): 380 m / 415 yds
Contrast colour (CC): 160 m / 175 yds
NEEDLES
Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to obtain pattern gauge
This shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using an 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needle to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
