Description: Double folded brim and double layer hat to stay warm in the winter months. Worked holding worsted and lace yarns together for the ribbing but then separated into worsted and lace layers. Pretty lace pattern adorns the body of the hat. Folded ribbing gives extra warmth and squishiness.
Sizes: One Size. Finished hat circumference is 19”/48cm.
Needles: US 3 (3.25mm) circular needles 24”/61cm long, optional additional set of needles for crown finishing.
Gauge: 5sts x 6rows = 1”/2.5cm in 1x1 rib, holding both yarns together.
Yarn: about 0.6 skein of Bewitched Fiber Co. Luna Worsted; 100% Merino; 215 yards / 100 grams. ~140 – 160yds, depending on yarn used.
AND
0.25 skein of Bewitched Fiber Co. Cobweb Lace; 72% Mohair, 28% Silk; 459 yards / 50 grams. ~110 – 130yds, depending on yarn used.
